Smoking is prohibited in any building at all times.
Renters may be evicted for illegal or inappropriate activities at the discretion of the camp manager.
A cleaning fee of $50 per hour will be charged to the renter for the event clean up. The Camp Manager or designated staff member will approve acceptable clean-up.
ATVs or Off-road vehicles are not permitted without explicit permission of the Board.
Events expecting an attendance of over 250 people must provide parking attendants at the renter’s cost.
Service or sale of alcohol is permitted by permit only. Appropriate insurance is required and additional rules will apply. A separate application is required. Application for alcohol permit does not guarantee approval. Please contact the Camp Manager for more information.
Proof of event insurance must be provided sixty (60) days before the beginning date for any public event that includes an entry fee, livestock, and competitions, operated for profit or include activities beyond a simple gathering. Insurance is required for any events where alcohol is present.
Day Use Rental
Day use rental includes access to facility from 10 AM to 10 PM on the day of rental.
Trash should be placed in an appropriate receptacle.
Use only non-damaging hanging supplies for event décor. Renter may incur charges for repairs made due to staples, heavy tape, tacks and other damage.
Kitchen Rental / Food Service
Kitchen rental includes use of equipment, utensils, service items and cleaning supplies only. Rental does not include use of pantry items, food, paper products and dry goods.
Event insurance is required
Food service must be compliant with Randolph County Health Department Guidelines.
Campsite Rental
Check-In: 3 PM
Check-Out: 11 AM
Seasonal campground Host can be found at campsite 12.
Quiet Hours are between 10 PM and 7 AM. Generator use is not permitted during this time.
Pets must be kept contained at the camp site. Pets may not be left tied outside unattended. Clean up after pets and dispose of waste in trash cans.
Fires permitted in designated fire rings only. Fires may be restricted during certain seasons.
Occupants must maintain the cleanliness of their site and ensure that all refuse is in its appropriate container.
Equestrian Use Policies
The Dakan Arena was built in part to promote outdoor and equestrian youth activities. As such, private use is permitted by area residents when the venue is not otherwise rented.
Proof of current Coggin’s test is required by ALL horses on the Dakan Arena and Camp Pioneer grounds and should be presented upon request of management or event managers.
Horses originating from out of state must have a health certificate or equine interstate event permit.
The Dakan Arena is available for day use by private individuals to ride at your own risk provided that it is not in use by a paid event.
Riders under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Commercial use of the Dakan Arena for lessons, clinics or other paid professional gatherings will result in rental fees.
Individuals utilizing the arena should show general equestrian courtesy:
Remove jumps, rails and other obstacles from the arena after use.
Please clean up after your own animal in parking lots or other adjacent areas.
Do not tie or feed horses along the arena wall where they will chew or damage equipment or rails.
Do not feed hay in the arena.
Manure should be disposed in designated areas.
Trash should be disposed in appropriate receptacles.
